[NEWS UPDATE] Kim Hyun Joong: Inspiring Generation/Age of Feeling Filming has Finally Begun!

 Kim Hyun Joong's Fans have been Breathlessly Waiting for News of  His Upcoming Drama Inspiring Generation / Age of Feeling set to air January 2014:  Finally a Taste Teaser

News of Hyun Joong's Drama has finally surfaced after nearly two months of nervous waiting.  I have been missing my Angel so much during this time as the media has been relatively quiet about his activities.  Other than reports of his withdrawal from Barefoot Friends to focus on filming the drama, not much has been going around.  Fans were tweeting old photos of Hyun Joong to keep him in their thoughts as we waited breathlessly for any news.  We can now breathe a sigh of relief just knowing the Cast has had their first table reading and filming will begin very shortly.

The drama is a high budget special project for KBS and has been in the works for quite some time.  The budget for the production has been reported at $14 million.  KBS has a great deal invested in this drama and it is expected to be a grand epic.  This news makes me breathe a little easier and feel more assured the drama will be filmed and aired regardless of the delay.  The orginal air date was set for November 2013.  The new target date in January 2014.  I am feeling less anxious about seeing Hyun Joong in a drama before his military enlistment.

I, as a fan, am so excited to finally be seeing news about the drama filming.  I am encouraged that it will be real this time.  Frankly, trusting KBS, after all their back pedaling has been difficult.  Seeing stills from the first day of filming with Hyun Joong is a little more convincing, but we saw stills from City Conquest as well.  I am just hoping and praying hard that all will go well and we won't be heartbroken and disappointed again. 

Because of the delay, they have recast one of the main female characters as well.  Details can be found on AsianWiki and DramaWiki about the plot and cast replacements.  I am short on time (as always) and unable to properly research everything right now to write the details in this article.  I am sorry to my readers for that.  I just wanted to post the news and let them know that we will hopefully be seeing more of Hyun Joong in the news since filming has begun.  I enjoyed reading the few articles I could find and the stills were interesting as well.

His first scene to be filmed was a fight scene!  Yeah, Baby!  His makeup and costume succeed in making  him look as average as possible.  No more pretty boy for Hyun Joong in this drama.  KBS is using the dramatic transformation from flower boy to tough guy to promote the drama.  They are expecting shocked reactions from the viewers when they see this side of Kim Hyun Joong.  Of course, his fans have been seeing this since Breakdown in 2011.  But, nice for Koreans to notice now.

I can't wait to see the first episodes set to be released in January.  I will try to keep you updated here when time allows.  Hope everyone is well and getting a bit of satisfaction after missing Hyun Joong's news for the last couple months.  I know my heart quickened when I finally saw the articles and photos about the cast meeting for a script reading and then the first stills of filming with Hyun Joong.

I am so proud of my Angel.  As always, he is working  hard and giving his all to the current project.  This role is really a dream come true for him and his fans.  He will shine like the star he is... I'm putting out positive vibes into the future for the ratings to be smokin' hot.  Critics, get ready to bow and grovel saying 'bienanida' 'cheosonghamnida!'  bow a couple times more even.  I won't insist they get on their knees.  I'm not that vengeful, but...  I do wan't them to realize the error of their words.
