Kim Hyun Joong nimbly scales the sharp rocks and braves the dangerous waves to catch Rock Shrimp in Ep. 6
If I was breathless watching Kim Hyun Joong in Episode 5 of Barefoot Friends carrying 1 ton of Watermelons on his back, I was holding my breath and clutching my chest watching him hop around the dangerous rocks as easily as a mountain goat to catch rock shrimp in Episode 6. I was in awe as he scaled the rocks with ease and braved the strong and dangerous waves to pull in the nets. One net was broken, giving him no reward for his fearless and hard work. The other net had a very nice specimen waiting for him and he plucked it from the net without hesitation showing it off to the cameras.

At this point, the other cast members were standing back watching him with awe and a bit of jealousy so it seemed! How can we blame them. Hyun Joong is a fearless go-getter and was down on the rocks pulling in the nets before the local fishermen could even give him any guidance. The fishermen looked a bit worried as Hyun Joong fearlessly went down to retrieve the last net getting dangerously close to the sea and stepping so near to the edge I sucked in my breath and squeezed my eyes closed for a second. He pulled in the last net and was rewarded with a half eaten rock shrimp. Apparently another predator got a bite before the net could be retrieved! LOL!
As we all have been anticipating, Hyun Joong will release his 3rd Japanese single Tonight on his birthday 6/6/13. I pre-ordered my copy at YesAsia and I am anxiously anticipating it's arrival. He held a handshake event in Tokyo and these are the beautiful pictures taken by MurderQ who is my favorite fan photographer. The pictures are always beautiful. I could not find any write ups on detailing the event. If anyone has links to articles I would love some. Please email me. I will be cutting this article quite short with a few more pics from the handshake event. I am very busy this week and don't have a lot of time. Enjoy the pictures.
