The responses I received via my comment box after releasing my article yesterday have filled my eyes with stinging tears and left a dull aching in my heart. I have always felt that my fellow fans are the most genuine, loving, and sincere people in the world, and their response to the shocking situation Kim Hyun Joong is currently facing is truly a testament to the type of person Kim Hyun Joong is himself. He has attracted the type of people who are NOT quick to judge others, and offer their love and support UNCONDITIONALLY without turning their backs when times are tough. Even though they have been faced with harsh criticism for doing so, Hyun Joong's fans are doing their best to keep their chins up and affirm their faith in the Idol Star whom they affectionately call their Only One. The fans began using that term back when Kim Hyun Joong made a statement during an interview where he was asked what his goals were for his Career. He responded:

Truth be told, there is something so special and unique about Kim Hyun Joong his fans can only marvel at the strength of their heart to heart bond with their Idol. Some comments I had read on another blog suggested we have all been duped by him, and we need to wake up from our fantasy. In response to that, I have to admit that following him truly is a world of fantastic beauty, warm feelings and love. However, is it all just an illusion? If it were, I know my interest would have waned LONG AGO and I would have grown bored. I would have moved on to something more exciting as I always have in the past. The REALITY of being a fan of Kim Hyun Joong is this: there is far more than fantasy and entertainment involved in this relationship. Non fans may doubt the sincerity of our bond. I cannot qualify it for them. If they are not able to feel his unadulterated honesty and sincerity in their hearts, I cannot describe it to them. We are linked to him in a way they will NEVER understand.
LOYALTY AND LOVE
This is why we are still protecting him and supporting him. This is why, if these allegations have even a shred of truth, we will continue to stay by his side offering our love and support. It is a relationship forged on something far deeper and more real than the superficiality of show business. I will agree that most entertainers have a persona and an image they portray in public. Behind closed doors, they may be a completely different person. With Kim Hyun Joong, we have glimpsed that other person. He tends to be shy and a man of few words. He has a child like joy that pops out at times making him very playful and cute. Are these acts to make the fans believe he is more lovable? The fact that these displays are usually completely spontaneous gives him a credibility that is undeniable.

It is this tendency to be so completely open, frank and undeniably 4D that has frustrated his antis so thoroughly in the past. Now, they feel they finally have the proof that his fans all are a bunch of lonely idiots with no other life than their fantasy world with Kim Hyun Joong. I for one have a full time professional career, a large family with 8 brothers and sisters, two sets of parents, a niece, six nephews, a new niece on the way, aunts, uncles and cousins that I spend a great deal of my time with. My family and friends are VERY important to me. They all know about my love of Kim Hyun Joong and even support my blog and posts on Facebook about him. Most of the fans have commented on my blog that they have never followed any other Entertainer with this level of devotion. We are by his side because he has captured our HEARTS. It is not a fantasy, an obsession, or a blind delusion to his true fans. We REALLY DO LOVE HIM. Like we love our family and dearest friends.
OPPORTUNISTIC TIMING
Because I addressed my thoughts on the evidence published in the Media that has been brought forward by the girl pressing charges against Kim Hyun Joong, I will not go into a great deal of detail here. You can read all about it in the Kpop e-zines and news reports. She supplied text messages and pictures to the media Dispatch after the news of her police report had been released. All I want to say about that is it does seem rather too convenient that she waited to come forward until Kim Hyun Joong was not in the country to offer up any defense for himself. It also looks very suspicious that she released the texts and photos to the media rather than keeping them private and handing them over as evidence to the Police until he could come back to give his side of the story.
Was there a leak in the Police Department to the Media? I only read different accounts that stated she handed that evidence directly to the media. If that is the case, it truly smacks of a manipulative and unfair opportunity for vengeance. I really don't know what she was thinking by doing it that way. She has placed herself in a position to be seriously discredited and should not be surprised that people who care about Kim Hyun Joong are suspecting her of wanting attention, money and revenge. The fact that the only witness statements came from 'a source close to the victim,' does not lend any more credibility to the evidence. So far, Kim Hyun Joong has really had no one on his side to give any type of conclusive statement or offer explanations about the evidence that has been released. I am sure he has had to keep his silence before his official statement to the Police, and he is being smart to do so. When you have been charged with allegations of a serious crime, "Anything you say can and will be used as evidence against you in a court of law." It is entirely unfair that the gag order has only been placed on Kim Hyun Joong and not the accusing girlfriend, but it is truly for his own good, and only in the right time will he be able to reveal his side shedding more light on the truth.

If this is what his ex-girlfriend truly wanted, then she has definitely gained a victory. I hope she feels satisfied that justice has been served. I will end tonight with this thought. One of the comments on another site stated that it is a classic case of 'he said, she said.' My thought on that is this: So far, it has only been a 'she said,' and we are all anxiously waiting to hear what 'he said.' Until then, we can only continue to let Kim Hyun Joong know we are not only his fans, we are his FRIENDS and FAMILY and we will stay by his side through the thick, the thin, the good, the bad, and the ugly. We truly love you, Hyun Joong. Please gather strength from our hearts. Keep fighting! We will get through this, and on the other side, you will know who your TRUE FRIENDS really are. That is the beauty of passing through trials in life. It sifts the superficial people from the sincere ones. I, for one, will always have your back. Even if it means holding your hand through a harsh lesson like this one. You will always have my love and you are now and forever my Only One.

COMMENT:Thank you so much for perfectly explaining what's been on my mind as well. Also, getting physical during an argument (if it is mutual) can't be judged without knowing all the circumstances. My ex-husband and I got into physical fights several times before we split up. I was horrified to find myself choking him one time. Nobody would consider either of us as violent or abusive people and as far as I know neither of us ever fought anybody else like that. We just pushed all the wrong buttons in each other. As you said, I doubt we will ever know the whole truth but I hope enough is reveled that most of the public can believe as we his loyal fans know - that he is an honest and good man.

How harsh and judgmental people are before they even have all of the facts. It seems to be going around the world these days, people are condemning on feelings and opinions. Even if proven guilty true friends would still support a person and stand by their side. You don't just throw people away, you guide them, help them become a better person, love them. They will have to pay the consequences of their actions and hopefully learn from it. Everyone has something they are not proud, we all make mistakes especially in a heated situation. I hope you can read some of the fan comments here too... they have truly touched me deep in my soul and reaffirmed what I knew all along... Kim Hyun Joong is a GOOD MAN and he cannot be brought down this easily. I hope he can read some of the fans comments too. I was crying when I saw the video on youtube with the fans from the South American countries supporting him with their signs saying 'stay cool and support KHJ!' I could not understand their words very well, but it is like when we listen to KHJ's songs in Korean or Japanese. We don't need to understand all the words because we understand the message with our hearts. Hope you are well... and I really hope Hyun Joong is able to take a bit of a breath and process what has happened. I think my greatest fear is that it will damage him emotionally and psychologically. I know how it feels to be betrayed by someone you trusted enough to open your heart. I know those feelings are the most painful type of mental anguish there is. Even more painful to me than being physically hurt. It feels like you are dying and completely alone. I hope he can take courage and strength from us as we lift him up and place him in the hands of God now. Only the invisible power of love can heal all wounds. Anyway, I wrote that article before flying to Thailand for HJ's concert, as I have mentioned I wasn't feeling well that time and I can feel pain just everywhere from Hyun Joong's fans and it hurts so badly. So I vent whatever I felt in my blog, and when I came back after the concert, I felt my house is burning! I felt as if I was also crucified bcoz I defended HJ. Now it appears what I have written is what actually happening. Smear campaign started and trial by publicity against the defendant slowly rolling. This is another reason why I couldn't take side of the woman involve even I'm a woman who is against physical abuse of men, because I can smell something fishy as soon as I have read the first news released, after I have written my article KE came out with statements. And from there smear campaign started.
I agree with you having doubts that evidence leak from the police. I may have no idea how police works in SK but it somehow gave me a thought that the girl who filed the case deliberately handed her so called evidence to the
media. The more I doubted her motive in coming out and filing the case. Of course media would love to sensationalize the case this is how they earn!
I'm with you in saying I hope that woman is satisfied with her revenge in destroying HJ and hurting his millions of fans. It's just so unfortunate HJ met this woman. But I really think he was badly provoked by this woman. Just my personal opinion. Let's just hope for the best and that truth will prevail.
For us fans we can only gather our strength for HJ because it is from us that he pulls his strength.

I am so glad my friend shared this link with me and I already shared them out to his fans that are unaware of this blog.
And this is the first time I read the whole thing since the allegation started and I cried buckets. I have never cried over someone that are not related then I realised that I have always take him as a family member unconsciously.
I have been following him since his debut with SS501 and all this years observation I never see any hint of fakeness in him. Due to commitment I can't follow him everywhere but I support him in whatever events he involved with. I bought all his albums and watched all his drama. I am a married woman with a family to care for, I have a successful professional career and I understand the stress of a relationship. But it is unfair for him to be condemned and bashed at. Those people are so unreasonable, irresponsible, cruel and selfish. Their comments may not mean anything to themselves but they cause damage to others life and the life of the person beside them.
I am not his mom I am already so devastated what you think his mom feel? I am a mother myself. Your deed whether good or bad will come back to you sooner or later.
I just hope he will not give in and stay strong for his family, friends and his loyal fans and his future. I hope he read this articles so that he know that there are people still support no matter what the outcome of this mess.

One thing for sure is that he will discover who his real friends, those they love him for what he is, his true fans, not weathervanes.

Beautifully said. I know that your words resonate with so many of us. More than a fan, I am a human being that admires Kim Hyun Joong, the human being. I like his determination, since he was a child, and his hard work to achieve his dreams. Nothing was handed to him. The response from his fans is a reflection of who he is. COMMENT:Thank you so much for perfectly explaining what's been on my mind as well. Also, getting physical during an argument (if it is mutual) can't be judged without knowing all the circumstances. My ex-husband and I got into physical fights several times before we split up. I was horrified to find myself choking him one time. Nobody would consider either of us as violent or abusive people and as far as I know neither of us ever fought anybody else like that. We just pushed all the wrong buttons in each other. As you said, I doubt we will ever know the whole truth but I hope enough is reveled that most of the public can believe as we his loyal fans know - that he is an honest and good man.

How harsh and judgmental people are before they even have all of the facts. It seems to be going around the world these days, people are condemning on feelings and opinions. Even if proven guilty true friends would still support a person and stand by their side. You don't just throw people away, you guide them, help them become a better person, love them. Anyway, I wrote that article before flying to Thailand for HJ's concert, as I have mentioned I wasn't feeling well that time and I can feel pain just everywhere from Hyun Joong's fans and it hurts so badly. So I vent whatever I felt in my blog, and when I came back after the concert, I felt my house is burning! I felt as if I was also crucified bcoz I defended HJ. Now it appears what I have written is what actually happening. Smear campaign started and trial by publicity against the defendant slowly rolling. This is another reason why I couldn't take side of the woman involve even I'm a woman who is against physical abuse of men, because I can smell something fishy as soon as I have read the first news released, after I have written my article KE came out with statements. And from there smear campaign started.
I agree with you having doubts that evidence leak from the police. I may have no idea how police works in SK but it somehow gave me a thought that the girl who filed the case deliberately handed her so called evidence to the
media. The more I doubted her motive in coming out and filing the case. Of course media would love to sensationalize the case this is how they earn!
I'm with you in saying I hope that woman is satisfied with her revenge in destroying HJ and hurting his millions of fans. It's just so unfortunate HJ met this woman. But I really think he was badly provoked by this woman. Just my personal opinion. Let's just hope for the best and that truth will prevail.
For us fans we can only gather our strength for HJ because it is from us that he pulls his strength.

And this is the first time I read the whole thing since the allegation started and I cried buckets. I have never cried over someone that are not related then I realised that I have always take him as a family member unconsciously.
I have been following him since his debut with SS501 and all this years observation I never see any hint of fakeness in him. Due to commitment I can't follow him everywhere but I support him in whatever events he involved with. I bought all his albums and watched all his drama. I am a married woman with a family to care for, I have a successful professional career and I understand the stress of a relationship. But it is unfair for him to be condemned and bashed at. Those people are so unreasonable, irresponsible, cruel and selfish. Their comments may not mean anything to themselves but they cause damage to others life and the life of the person beside them.
I am not his mom I am already so devastated what you think his mom feel? I am a mother myself. Your deed whether good or bad will come back to you sooner or later.
I just hope he will not give in and stay strong for his family, friends and his loyal fans and his future. I hope he read this articles so that he know that there are people still support no matter what the outcome of this mess.
