Kim Hyun Joong sets another Japanese Oricon Record and Opens his Home to Fans and Friends

News of Kim Hyun Joong's latest record breaking achievement came out yesterday as Japan's Oricon chart revealed him as the first Korean Artist to break 100,000 copies for first day sales 3 times in a row. His Singles Kiss Kiss/Lucky Guy, Heat and Tonight broke the chart records and snagged him #1 and #2 spots on the Oricon Chart. Kim Hyun Joong also broke 100,000 copies for his first day sales on his full album Unlimited as well. Hyun Joong's Japanese label, Universal Japan stated:

If I was breathless watching Kim Hyun Joong in Episode 5 of Barefoot Friends carrying 1 ton of Watermelons on his back, I was holding my breath and clutching my chest watching him hop around the dangerous rocks as easily as a mountain goat to catch rock shrimp in Episode 6. I was in awe as he scaled the rocks with ease and braved the strong and dangerous waves to pull in the nets. One net was broken, giving him no reward for his fearless and hard work. The other net had a very nice specimen waiting for him and he plucked it from the net without hesitation showing it off to the cameras.

Kim Hyun Joong proves his AWESOMENESS as he takes on 1TON Gendong Challenge!

Anxiety, Pain, Fear, Intensity, OVERWHELMING Pride.... these are the emotions I was processing in my mind with stinging tears in my eyes as I watched my Kim Hyun Joong carry nearly 1 TON of watermelons on his back while working in the Indonesian market on Barefoot Friends Episode 5. I was so overcome with all the emotions I finally exclaimed out loud, " I really love this man right now!" I had full confidence in him as the others in the market were looking at him with doubtful expressions. As he continued to take load after load weighing approximately 69 kg each, (that's about 140 lbs for us Americans! probably not far from what KHJ weighs himself) their expressions began to change from disbelief to outright admiration.

ANGEL APOLOGIES

This article starts with my heart full and heavy with sorrow. I am a very passionate woman. When something excites me, I want to share it with the world. Sometimes, my passion causes me to be misunderstood and ill perceived. This has happened on many occasions throughout my entire life. Because I can become so animated about something, those around me sometimes get hurt or confused. This is what I have realized regarding my previous articles about Kim Hyun Joong and Kim Jaejoong. I was so excited about Jaejoong, I just want to share my enthusiasm. I wrote honestly from my heart and wanted my enthusiasm to be shared. I did not stop to think how it would affect my beloved Angel, Kim Hyun Joong. I did not realize he could take it as unjust criticism and take it to heart. I did not consider that I could be hurting his feelings deeply as his fan.
